Innovative Advertising Ideas

I have just returned from a small business advertising seminar in London and I have to say that I was rather surprised at how much I enjoyed the whole experience. In this article I will be writing about the valuable lessons that I learned during the seminar including the latest innovative advertising ideas the “gurus” had.

A few weeks back I was offered a free invitation to the seminar which is probably the reason why I attended. What is the worst that could happen? I said to myself. I will not waste your time by explaining about the advantages and disadvantages of the every day advertising vehicles such as radio, t.v and newspaper – these presentations bored the pants off me and therefore I would not want to put you through similar misery.

What I was looking for was something unique or perhaps something which is fairly new but which had the “wow factor”. The morning session was somewhat boring but in the afternoon at about 2.15pm I started to listen to a presentation made by a rather smart looking man from Wiltshire. Now this guy was well impressive as were his advertising ideas. What we are talking about here is not the some what annoying people who appear in the corner of some websites and start talking about the website as soon as you have accessed it. This idea is to produce a short film or presentation which describes the service or products that you provide. This film is then made available to your prospective clients via web streaming or a physical video/DVD.

In this day and age of affordable DVD authoring and DVD replication services this form of advertising does not have to cost the earth and the results have been known to be outstanding. I have already booked a guy to come round and film me! Look out for my new DVD which will be out soon – it will hopefully be very popular!
